Since 2014, “The Art Show” born through a partnership with Sheraton Addis, a Luxury Collection Hotel, was founded with a clear vision: to elevate emerging Ethiopian bag designers whose exquisite creations—crafted from Ethiopia’s renowned leather—embodied creativity, craftsmanship, and modernity.
Over the past ten years, these talented designers have honed their skills, drawing inspiration from ‘The Bag Show’ platform to push the boundaries of fashion and craftsmanship. The event has become more than just a showcase; it’s a catalyst for growth, a source of encouragement, and a celebration of Ethiopia’s rich leather industry.
